CAL POLY HEALTH CENTER APP
The Health and Wellness Center at Cal Poly is the campus doctor for students. The Health Center App gives students the ability to book appointments, pay and order their prescription, check in remotely, and have access to doctors 24/7. With the improved system between students and the Cal Poly Health Center we hope to see an increase in students going to the Health Center and a decrease in their time spent in the waiting room. We hope to eliminate communication friction and tp present the Health Center in its most positive light.
SAVVY LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
Savvy Leader Academy (SLA) is a local startup company in San Luis Obispo that focuses on developing leadership skills, manners, etiquette, social skills and dance. We helped SLA with their packaging for a subscription box service they hope to launch. We designed binder dividers, a board game, playing cards, and stickers featured in the boxes. The activities are aimed for kids to have to work with real people, rather than completing tasks online. The subscription boxes are meant to be fun, engaging, and something the kids look forward to completing each week. We saw these elements from sketches all the way to final prototypes suitable for reproduction on a larger scale.
PARKSMART, INC.
ParkSmart, Inc. is a small parking business in Walnut Creek. They work with property managers to organize employee and customer parking problems in cities such as Oakland, Berkeley, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek. They also develop software to solve parking issues at hospitals and college campuses. I helped them create promotional videos and a new website for their latest software launch. I also helped create stickers, posters, and parking lot layouts to present to property managers.
DIABLO REGIONAL ARTS ASSOCIATION
Diablo Regional Arts Association of Walnut Creek wanted a mobile application developed to allow people to more easily buy tickets for the Dean Lesher Performing Arts Center. The main focuses of the app were to be able to purchase tickets for events, receive a discount to select restaurants on the same day as the event, and advertise the education opportunities at the center.
BODPOD
BodPod was designed by Cal Poly Business and Engineering students. I was brought on board to help design the logo and website. BodPod is a fully functional, self contained micro gym designed to ease the lives of companies and their employees. Complete with a fully unique and modern design, BodPod makes it easy for companies to rent out a pod that is constructed quickly on site with high-end, durable materials and fully furnished with top of the line equipment.
SEEDS IPAD APP
Seeds is an restaurant downtown San Luis Obispo that serves acai bowls, smoothies, pressed juices, and toast. For this project I worked with two other students to design an app that would make checking out customers and scheduling easier for the employees. We found that employees at working at Seeds needed an easier way to put in customers orders, move around their schedules, and communicate. We designed an app that would easily allow them to enter a customers order and remove or add toppings of their choice. The app also allows for an easy check-out between the customer and the employee. Most importantly, the app allows employees to communicate. They are able to communicate if a product went bad or is running low and will need to be replaced soon. Along with that we made a calendar to make trading shifts easier and more organized.
